MTBO race 1:25:37 [5] 22.0 km (3:54 / km) +200m 3:43 / km
shoes: Scale

Long final. Another hot hot day. winner 71.36 Andy in 3rd in 79.26 Killian 6th 83.11 Al 7th 83.43 me 8th 85.37. One stupud mistake at first railway tunnel thinking I could take the second track but it did not joid up and I had to push through loosing a minute. Fairly clean apart from that a bit cautious on the open ones. Not the right bike for the open stuff the Blur would of been far quicker for me. Not a bad result really just not fit enough.

MTBO race 45:00 intensity: (8:18 @1) + (2 @2) + (2:19 @3) + (14:50 @4) + (19:31 @5) 12.13 km (3:43 / km) +138m 3:31 / km
ahr:145 max:174 shoes: Scale

12.134km with 138m climb in 0:47:00. Relay. First leg of the open class. Terrible off the line almost fell trying to put map in gave up and stoped so ended up well back in the pack with all classes starting together. Then turned in a bit early for 1 and had to cut through. Leaders well in front already as I went to 2. Heading up to 3 I managed to burp the rear tire and it was very soft had to use the gas on it loosing more time then too far left at end but relocated ok. With tony doing the 50 here and he had a better route to 4 and was still in front. Ok from here on and probably put in a good time for the second half but had lost 4 mins to Duncan doing the first leg for the other open team. Turns out Graham could not cope with the off road stuff and he totally failed to find one.

MTBO race 24:18 [5] 8.0 km (3:02 / km) +120m 2:50 / km
shoes: Scale

Sprint race. 6th 24.18 11 secs behind Al in 5th Killian won in 22.01. Good race apart from throwing away 30s on 2 taking road too soon, Al did exsctly the same thing which was we all saw looking at the GPS trascking as he was last off. 10 - 15 secs lost at 7 taking 2 sides of triangle. Fairly pleased with my ride, loosing a bit on the climbs but not too far off. Was interesting watching Al on the GPS tracking as we were very close together time wise. He tried to throw it away by oversooting the finish but had enough in hand.

Mtb warm up/down 13:08 [2] 2.2 km (10.1 kph) +81m
shoes: Scale

Up to the sprint start big hill at end.

shoes: Scale

14.184km with 222m climb in 0:56:05. masters mtbo world champs middle race. Missed path to 1 like many others mainly because the start was miss marked. Went on down and took my punishment on the climb. 2 ok and split good. 3 I look to of lost time climbing. 4 a bit bitty in complex bit. 5 was my big error just forgot which path I was on of two parallel ones and then misread the junction I needed. Crossed a crossroads and was not expecting one should of stoped straight away. Carted on and threw away 3-4 mins. Andy conn got in front having started 4 mins back. 6,7,8 ok saw Andy at 8 as he messed up route. 9 ok 10 I missed first turn then ripped my side wall loosing all air. Ran for about 100m then decided it was too far and way too hot to run I'm so just walled I'm the last 4 urban flags.
