Started out planning an easy long run, since I haven't done one in ages. Felt pretty good so I kept going and turned it into a 21.1. A pretty slow pace, but considering I wasn't planning on pushing things, and the conditions were slushy and wet, I was pretty happy about how good I felt at the end.

Snowshoe in Durham with Simpy. We got the maps out and trekked the trail run that will be used for the 5 Peaks race to see what it looked like (although we have biked all the same trails a ton). There will be no shortage of calf burn come race day for us trail running rookies. Cut off the end of the course as we ran short on time tonight. Some of the southern trails had some deep powder.
