Power Yoga for Flexibility. Doing this today was proof why I should be doing this more often - good thing it's only a half hour session! :) Felt good, but wow am I lacking in the flexibility department! ... and in the strength department for that matter! :)
Peak 2 Peak. I had a terrible, terrible run. Probably my worst nav in a long time... hopefully this means I've worked out a few rusty kinks before rth... At least I got out! :)
I did a couple of extra laps around the track today between exercises which meant more running (good) at a much faster pace to make sure I didn't miss the strength training stations (also good for me).
Enjoyed a hike on some xc ski trails at Oil Creek State Park. Aubrey was in the stroller and I got to push her for some 'resistance training'. Haha. :)
Easy run with Aubrey in the Chariot. There were a few hiking sections where the trail was tough rough to run her over. Ran some hills (5 repeats in all) to test the legs out. Not feeling too bad at all.
I stand corrected. Only 5 seconds difference last year to this year. Now the question is, do I run it again next year in the hopes of beating these times?? Tbd...
