2 Ponds (Puslinch) with 3-pin Follas. He brought a ringer too, Skye the Flying Follas. Lucky she had her arm in a cast and has been off the bike so she didn't have to wait *too* long for us. She had to bail half way through though.
3-pin and I did the expert loop.
3-pin was on a full suspension plus-size monster, and cleaned a lot of wet rooty climbs. I had to get off and walk a few of the rooty curvy climbs, and took a couple of easier routes on 3-pin's advice, but mostly had a great ride. I'm riding with the small shock in the back mounts, and I love it. No mechanical issues, no war wounds. Some fun bumpy doubletrack at the end,

Yay, Bash is back! We had a surg consult in Scarborough for the big boy, but made it back in time for a run commute with AD. First night run home in a long while.

Bazingadog will be getting the belt-and-braces double surgery, TPLO bone surgery and Tightrope ligament reinforcement, to maximize strength during early and later healing. We'll probably need to sedate him for the first while so he doesn't blow it out early.

Note

Not just the bike and dog out of commission- busy trying to find all my e-mail since a hard drive swap. First world problems.

Running 1:41:32 [1] 10.93 km (9:17 / km) +94m 8:54 / km

Easy run with Bash and Yumi.

Cycling 52:00 [2] 12.22 km (14.1 kph) +61m

Ride with Bash, Yumi and Browner.

We got on a pretty rocky trail by accident. I was riding it pretty well until my bike went kerflooey. The shock had compressed fully, banged on the mount and stuck down. The suspension through-axle lost a retainer too, which we couldn't find, so I had to hike-coast back to the road while the ladies rode back to the van.

I guess I know what the Kodiak can and can't do. I need a shock rebuild and new suspension axle retainer, or maybe a better through-axle.
