Note

Small world

When I went and did some Long Champs setting, as I drove away from Bishop Lake I saw a red Taurus with a yellow kayak. Given that I know one person who has a red Taurus and a yellow kayak, I made a note to eventually ask him if he had played hooky on that same work day, and today I finally confirmed that it was him. Given that I live 20 miles away and him more like 35, and that we only had a 2-3 minute window of time to be on the same stretch of Bishop Lake Road, that is a crazy small world or interesting set of coincidences that conspire to put us both in that location at the same time.

I double check one location, or don't double check one location....doesn't overlap. He stops for gas on the way...

Deferred "long" run from the weekend @ Bird Hills.

Water looked high:

Kuebler had a burn:

Hilltop climb looks great. Fond memories of some tape here a long time ago:

Someone raised their game on trying to discourage the track crossing from Barton/Bandemer parking:

But the locals will not be stopped, not by big concrete blocks nor the ditch behind them:
