No pre-scouting the course. Looks nice, but with sun and sand it will be nicer.

I don't think the courses overlapped at all.

I lied. I remember Mike saying that they hit the stuff after the whitewater. Didn't help us much because we still f'ed up.

I can see your concern - Mount Baldhead is just 90 miles from Silver Lake, and I was wearing glasses.

It was actually the Black Bear, and the first mountain bike section was exactly the same location and trails. Definitely gave us a leg up after the swimming. But that is OK for us but not you. :)

Yeah it was the Black Bear. Technically if I was at Nationals I would have known where we were Jens to give us an advantage; not......... who am I kidding. I was totally lost the whole time. lol. Thank God Phil and Mike didnt leave me in the dust.

I just realized, I could go and scout Silver Lake. I am 90 minutes away. Sweet! Thanks for the idea MRA! ;)

I'll have to review my maps from when the BreakOut was there.
