Discussion: Sideways pic

Weird- the pic of BGY is upright on my ipad but sideways on the laptop.
Anybody else see poor Greg and Logan on a vertical cliff of ice?

The photo is upright on my iPhone but sideways on my Macbook.

What are you using for your photo embedding now that Picasa is going away?

I posted an embed link from Dropbox. The sideway one was direct download from iphone to dropbox, the others e-mailed to dropbox and modified for size.

I too have had trouble with photo orientation via my iPad. I often let my smarter half do most of the photo posting.

I think the problem is that the phone/iPad software knows which way you took the photo and displays it back to you that way. As you move to other environments, the photo is displayed the way it actually is. When 'Bent modified the other photos for size, he also (intentionally or not) saved them in the correct orientation.

Gotcha. I blame picasa for closing up shop.

Sideways or not that guy sure has white legs...
