Discussion: Bobcats in Franklin County

I see that you are running on the Brookville Lake Scenic Trail. Have you seen any bobcats?

Not yet, but doesn't surprise me at all. They're largely nocturnal. There's been a den with young reported at Fernald Preserve at least 3 or 4 years ago - they're definitely making a comeback.

I've seen lots of deer and rabbits, so plenty of food for a hungry bobcat!

Bobcats eat deer??
