But it was definitely not flat! To make this more like a long road run, I'd originally thought we'd just do a boring run on the rail trail, but when Leanimal said she wanted to come, I promised to look for something more interesting that didn't have a lot of repeated ups and downs. Leanimal went missing, but we did the interesting route anyway. The first half of the route was predominantly downhill - a *long* way down from heavy snow cover into nice fall weather. Then the 2nd half included a few steep escarpment climbs to get back into the snow. Belfountain looked like a Currier & Ives Christmas card, and the cafe mocha at The Shed was pretty much the best thing I've ever tasted. (Admittedly, I was easy to please by that point.)
OOps - I think Little Doughty might be a bit upset with me for disappearing too.....we'll see tonight! So you can thank me for the hills.....well karma got me back when Slice insisted we do intervals today!
