I liked your commentary on your log, so of course I ripped off the idea. Now, if I could only have copied the 3:04 time. Not going to happen, but I'm OK with that.

Still so-o-o-re today, but a bit better. Friggin downhills!

Congrats Bent awesome time! I rushed home from snowshoeing to see how you guys made out. I did not see anything on Arch though do you know what happened?

He was around 3:45. Unfortunately, he missed his 3:30 qualifying time. He was having a great vacation though, and he's got the rest of the week in Tucson. We're the only ones who came home after the marathon. Silly us.

For a few hours post-marathon, The Archer thought something had happened that he would never have lived down. He and Trent were sharing a hotel room and a rental vehicle, and they'd upgraded to a huge Hummer. After the marathon, the keys were nowhere to be found. The Archer's only thought was that he must have zipped them into the pocket of the sweatpants he was wearing at the start of the run. He'd thrown the pants away at the side of the road - all discarded clothing was going to a local shelter. We were thinking that the shelter would be impressed to get Hummer keys! The rental company came out and replaced the keys at a cost of $150 - and then the original keys were discovered with the teenaged daughter of one of the runners. She had apparently been given the keys for safekeeping by someone who was very tired at 5 a.m. and subsequently forgot what they had done. So The Archer was off the hook!

Funny story :) it could only happen to him.
I couldn't find his name on the finishers list so I was afraid something had happened and he did not run. Glad to hear he finished.

Interesting - I can find his name in the results database, but there are no splits or results assigned to him. I wonder if there was a problem with his chip?

I never saw him driving the Hummer, so it's quite possible that he was entirely innocent in the Great Key Caper.
