Hey, Mike. Rush run isn't mapped, is it? Would it be worth mapping?

I'm getting more and more impressed with the possibilities. Some of it is pretty thick, but there is lots of nice area too. Big issue might be how much hunting and limited date availability for O'ing. But I am thinking this could be a big new map, maybe for Pig 2013 or 14 if we can get approval. Pig is usually a good time because it is after deer season but before spring turkey. But there could still be small game, etc.

Is it a park? Who owns it? Please give me adjacent roads, and I'll look for it on my DeLorme.

Just google Rush Run Wildlife Area and you should be able to find it. From Hueston Woods, go east across US 127. Hoel Rd to the west, Wayne Trace to the east, Northern Rd to the south, Pogue-Frazee goes thru the middle. Public hunting area owned by Ohio DNR.

Got it!

Interesting shape. Where is the good stuff? How about parking?

enough small lots that we can figure something out; a couple are large enough for a normal pig, eg 100 cars or so.
