Nice running. Glad you got the light. I modified the mounting bracket on mine so it doesn't stick out so far and can aim in the right direction.

Thanks, thanks! So what exactly did you do for modifying?

Got one off another lamp. Have to show you.

Is it this deal extreme uberlamp you guys are talking about? I'm on the verge of picking one of those up and was curious what the problem is. I've got a machine shop at work for any modifyin' needs - if it's something I can do, I can get yours too, Ali.

Also, anyone in the cambridge-ish area interested in getting one? Shoot me a line

Yep, that looks like it. I think there were two main concerns - that it points low and how to carry the battery.

As for keeping it up, my dad put a small, thin piece of rubber between the lamp and the mount and it's perfect. I can adjust it easily and it stays.

I wore it on Tuesday and put the battery pack in the waist band of my tights. Certainly didn't move much, but did become painful after about an hour and a half - it was digging into my hip too much. Then I ran home just holding it in my hand. Tonight I put it in the back pocket of my Trimtex o-pants. I had to take the battery out of it's cloth case for it to fit, so I wrapped it in plastic. Absolutely no problem - I forgot it was there immediately. Pants did not ride down :)
