IKEA furniture assembly is such a challenge!

Looks like one of the things I tried to assemble this weekend...

I like the challenge of IKEA furniture building! But that could be the engineer in me. Its like giant lego kinda :)

And partway through the assembly of Malm chest-of-drawers. I haven't messed anything up yet, but lost momentum at some point last night... The little generic humans in the instructions are pretty hilariously unreadable at times, but just keep staring and looking at the available parts and then something makes sense!

I was helping my son to assemble a TV bench (not IKEA though) over the weekend and the instructions were actually very honest - stating that it would take two hours. For once this seemed to be correct (still not quite done as late night took over...) as opposed to other optimistic estimates neglecting the "staring, looking and thinking factor"....
