Distance looks almost good enough from that pavilion to the dam. Just not sure if you'd have your bikes staged down there then, as a hike back would eat up most of the trekking miles....

But a staged bike would mean drop bag and not a central TA? They always give us access to a drop bag at the end of the paddle. I think we will first have a short O course/Run before the paddle. Then we paddle into Kensington and have a O-course and then back to the car. Or paddle downstream and then back up? From there bike down to the trail and ride it. Then have a bike drop with another O-course. Maybe even another drop off with another O. Then bike back.

I would guess out and back over Kensington. Combined water and air temp is getting low for open water, imho. Jeff and I paddled up recently - water seems higher than our earlier paddles, but still well within the realm of feasible upstream paddling. And that might skip the train bridge corner, which is probably the most demanding bit (pinch point with shrubbery to knock you over if you miss wide, and a log prevents cutting in early).

I like your mini o first; I was wondering about that and trying to figure out where they would put stuff.
