Good job! A few comments on things you said above... EVERY team I talked to struggled with that river section - including us in my awesome boat (it's not the best boat for that kind of river, but open water or more open rivers... look out!) So, don't beat yourself up too much for that.
We looked into the 2-track to 18, but asked Luke about it pre-race and it went through private property, so we took the road.
I was a little confused when you thanked us for the trail... We actually did those points in a counter clockwise direction after an excessive overshoot on 23. We didn't hit that trail through the swamp until after we saw you, so I guess your thanks are due somewhere else! :) Perhaps MRA - we ran into them as we left 25 and they were heading out to it.

Phew, glad I didn't switch to try that two track! It doesn't even look all there on satellite and it looks like it continues through someone's yard.
I imagined Mike and Tony were benefiting from some time in a boat together before!
Mark & Teri VT were behind us in that grassy section. Then they passed and poof, they were gone. They ripped it up. I thought we might see them on the last pond but they had already gapped a rental boat.
Also, Mark & Teri were in the official canoe of AR, the Wenonah Escape.
