Smooth! That thing is like the Hoka of mountain biking!

Good analogy!

Best description ever- the Hoka of MTB. I don't see many folks ride this one successfully, but did see an endo there.

The only endo you've ever done was backwards, right?

I now see that the 'bent could downhill like mad but could threaten some scary backflips on sudden steep climbs. Maybe you need some wheelie wheels like they put on the back of dragsters and funny cars!

When I get down east sometime to check out your fun neck of the woods and those wonderful lakes, I wanna take the 'bent for a spin!!
Or, we've got some fun downhills for it out here, if you bring it out.

You're exactly right about the steep uphills. I think there is a photo somewhere of the time that 'Bent ended up in a tree!

Yep, that's happened once. Very steep uphill, lost front wheel on a root and started slipping backwards. Big mistake to hit the brake then.
It would be pretty awful on rocky uphill switchbacks, but I doubt I could ride those on a regular MTB anyway.

smooth! Are you clipped in with your shoes?

Yep, clipped in. I do end up unclipping a fair bit it technical stuff.

I've seen a Bent back endo. He was trying to keep with the girls one day and on a steep uphill suddenly he was gone. But most of the time he is in complete control and has no trouble riding everything. He has quads of steel. It's not like he can just stand up on his pedals when it gets steep.
