We've done them for the past 2 years, and so has STORM Racing. They seem to be the best bang for our advertising buck. Google ads were too expensive per click, and print ads cost more than 2 months of FB ads. The hard part is figuring out your target demographic groups. If they're too big, you could pay for clicks from people who would never do your events. But once you get the ad rolling and get ideas for tweaking the audience, it is disturbingly addictive to watch the stats!

I for one almost never click a Google ad, but I have seen a lot of FB ads that interest me.

I've used FB ads before and I have been pleased with the results. The thing I like most is the same thing all other advertisers like most about it... you can target very precisely.

We are probably going to have to do online registration for the U of M event, by the way.
