#1 split to the finish, nicely done, this seems to be becoming a specialty of yours!

And going around to #13 was a decent choice. I am wondering if Ali went straight, through gaps in that green.

Yup, I went pretty straight, ended up crawling for about 10m at one point, but that was the only time I slowed way down... I was hoping to be further left of the very nasty green, but didn't quite manage. Apologies for lack of QR, I drowned my 2nd Garmin, I've just ordered the 310xt which claims to be waterproof, here's hoping so!

That #13 split was crazy. You picked up so much time - two full minutes there to the U of I guy.

Ah, that explains the disappearance of globes from your log entry!

I started running the finish splits in anger, because I could at least probably get that right. Now some others are joining in - there was a race at Yankee with ~6 people within 20 s on a longer finish sprint. Very fun! The remote finish is a nice touch, fewer kids to run over.

Igor and Jens, 3D Rerun. Works well since we are mostly on the screen at the same time.

I was wondering what everyone was going to do about that green mess. I hated trying to field check it :) Was worried people might have hated me if I put that leg in there, but since I thought ROTC cadets were going to come I decided to leave it in since it builds character, haha. Wondering what Rick did as he had a good split time for that one but I didn't get a chance to talk with him.

I heard the West Point team did a similar sprint to the finish competition for a while. Apparently some of the guys would stop & rest up a bit before punching the last control to the finish because it became *the* thing to get that finish split win, even if the whole rest of the course was terrible... it feels like that is what this might be turning into. =)

I still like 2D better :)

I have caught my breath before punching the GO, but I think it would be better to check up early and then try to run through. Definitely something for me to work on, especially with Alex's warrior charges threatening my claims.

Igor can view the Matrix directly, and does not need the visualization aid of the 3D version.
