Both of our pods are intrigued by AR. I feel lucky that he doesn't think it's strange and is all about being upright and moving forward.

i've had a few roadblock docs in the past who didn't understand that rest is about the worst thing they could prescribe for me. being a patient is hard. it definitely takes a level of pushiness and self-advocacy that is not natural to me.

hey, just noticed this post about your foot hurting and wanted to share what I'm dealing with currently....I injured my ankle back in June at stubborn mule, two or three weeks before CT. I thought I'd sprained my ankle, yaddy-yah, and kinda toughed it out and such. As you know, I raced the rest of the season, nationals, etc...and after R and R, I finally went to pod in jan, to get to the bottom of this; and guess what? stress fracture originated from June! Telling ya, cuz, they weren't even looking for it.....Cant' see it on regular xray, need mri. Just something to ponder, before getting to deep into the new season. My wife and I are both medical people, and had to press the issue with docs.

thanks, bugeater!! i got back to the pod next monday for follow-up. the drugs he gave me helped a lot, i just hope that the toe continues to improve now since the Rx is done. i for sure will be pressing for MRI if things don't keep getting better. i have a lot of things planned for 2014!!
