So how much does a day-long appointment cost... And what about 'scope of practice'?

I don't think a day would be enough but my physio does usually start with asking me about my earliest memories & questions whether my hamstring injury could be metaphorical, representing a time when I felt I was being held back from my true potential. Best not to delve to deep into my achilles problems though.

Ha. Sounds like my approach to doctoring , which is "ask an open ended question like they taught you in medical school, open a 40 minute can of worms, hate yourself for it". The sensible approach is of course to fend the patient off with a script pad and try not to look them in the eye. Don't know what the physio equivalent is.

Just stick needles in the patient and move them around in tiny increments to see how much you can make the patient twitch. That's my physio's approach anyway.
