Discussion: Relay

DGL teams are 1 and 2 after 6 laps. Looks like everyone is running 2-4 min slower this year.

Harps and Hansel are our out on course now.

BGY won his age group in his first 50 miler! 7th overall.

DGL 2 (hotshot team) is : Katiemac, Tarno, Sudden, Turbo, Frankenjack, Greg L, Hansel, Cleve

DGL1 (meh team) Erin, 'Bent, Steve, Dan, Brooke, Harps, Nicolas, Trav.

Team 2 won't break the 11:24 record unless Cleve is super-fast, but they won't be far off.

Nice work out there, looks like you guys got the mud; we got the heat. Generally slower times all around from yrs past from what I heard probably due to those two reasons?

Looks like Harps is ready to graduate to DGL2. Nice runs by all of you!

Harps and Trav can both graduate. Team Fast just missed the record at 11:31, while team Meh was second at 13:13.

As for me- my calves are toast today. Paying for not doing speed work in minimalist shoes.

2nd out of 25 teams is going to give you sore calves.

Me too 'Bent, calves are shred from the minimal shoes, walking is tough today! Great race 'Bent and thx for taking care of Phats too.

BGY- I need to get you to pace me for Ultras. You apparently have them dialed!
Hope it doesn't get too boring winning your category on different distances 2 years in a row.
