It was fun navigating to a few CPs with you guys
and chatting about MAC geo. We also used the canoes to save knees (mine) and to make it seem more real but didn't do the portage. Too many bad memories from RTN bark lake 2001 (though it had a happy ending).
Thanks for the offer of the beer afterwards but that would have knocked me out.
Mark commented several times on how impressed he was with Will even though he wasn't feeling well. "He did an expedition race at 18?" he asked several times during the day. "That is damn impressive" :-)
Rematch next year? MAC vs UBC?

Will was telling me all sorts of things about Mark's work and research that I had no idea about... I guess they had a chance to chat too :-)
.. and Will was 17 when he did EA, but only a month away from 18... I think he sprouted 2 chin hairs on the course :-)
