Great meeting with my diabetes educator, who said I am literally walking off my prediabetes! I will take the blood test in June and keep my fingers crossed that all this walking will pay off. To celebrate my discipline, and to support my feet and joints, I bought a new pair of cushy Hoka walking shoes that I will also be using for an upcoming work event where I’ll be on my feet all day. So far they feel pretty good, but it is something to get used to having all that padding under foot!

Springfield Trail, yellow, plus a little bit because I thought the whole thing was going to be six after looking at @hughmac4’s log, when it really is only 4.5 if you just follow the yellow - so I tacked on a little to get to five. Never even saw his text telling me it’s 4.57. You’d think they would put the distance on the multitude of signs they have!
