shoes: Salomon Speedcross 3 (Blue #2)

Trail run at Pisgah w/ Zitch. Did a nice loop. Finished differently than I had planned but it worked. Trails were soaked from the downpour an hour earlier. Z took a nice swim in the creek at the end.

Ran into an old college acquaintance in the parking lot upon our return. Zitch got to play with her dog.

Ride at Dupont State Forest with Zitch. I was concerned when the parking lot was packed. Not used to this many people on the trails. We started in what apparently was a less used corner of the park which let Z settle down. Only saw 1 person the first hour. I did find a nice climbing area though.

Then we moved to the more used trails. Had a nice climb and crossed a waterfall. The pace was pretty easy throughout except for a few climbs. Stopped a lot to look at the map and take some pics.

John's Rock at Pisgah National Forest w/ KT and Zitch.

The ranger led me to believe this was a 1.8 mile hike. For a minute I thought I was lost cause all I had was a black and white trail map. A mile in I realized the ranger's mistake. KT made it but was questionable at times. It was a great view though.

Did the same Hamstring strength exercise as Tuesday but not as weak this time. Hamstring a bit sore though. More exercises and stretches.

Started feeling better.

Played some volleyball in the evening. It seems that doing activity made me feel better. Felt better mowing the past couple days as well.

PT. Stretched and then did a hamstring strength exercise. Could tell the difference in strength b/w L (less) and R. Did the calf raises again. Strength difference was clear again.
