JK Relay Women's Trophy first leg for ERYRI. OMG the tussocks! Not nice on the way to the start kite! Started well but rolled ankle coming out of 4 and was a little cautious after that! Then went waist deep in a marsh (that turned into a pond) on the way into 9 - not impressed. Squelched round the rest of it slightly disgruntled having lost sight of the pack, but still a good run to finish off the weekend.

JK W21E Classic. A long way! Started reasonably well, steady but confident. Had a crisis of confidence on no4 when I was on exactly the right line then suddently convinced myself that I'd overshot and ran 200m back down the hill to a pit I saw people punching which was just where I'd come from (and not in the right place!) Then had to retrieve it and head on up to the control. Similar issue on 15 but less hesitation. Lost motivation once I hit the first drinks control (6.5km in) - was cold and tired and hadn't seen a single other runner. Caught by Katrin and Anwen at 18 (held Anwen off at 17 after she passed me at the road crossing as she was too high up the slope). Didn't even have enough left in the tank to hold on for the last 800m though - not good at long races! Give me another middle race any day :)

JK Middle W21E. Reasonably pleased - few minor mistakes early on and kept drifting off rough bearings but pulled it together after number 5. Then big whoopsie on 18, had no plan and was running downhill fast into a sea of pits with no attack point. Disaster waiting to happen... lost 2-2.5 min so could have been worse. Then missed the pit at no 20 right by the finish!!

JK Sprint. Clean but one or two poor route choices and a little bit hesitant. Ran as well as fitness permitted! New shoes are really soft with a big stack, which wasn't great on the parkland - felt like running on sand!
