XC skiing 45:00 [1]

Kiddo coaching. Very Level 1, if not 0, but hey, it's time on skis!

A big group today, with some slower skiers who probably should have been in the next group down.

Then two girls needed a bathroom break when we were far away - and there is 4 ft of new snow and they are about about 4 ft tall... I trudged a path for them and didn't lose either, calling that a victory!

That was something else. 34 degrees and wet snowing, and there wasn't enough course marking/marshalling, so everyone cut off one ~ 0.1 mi section of the course (multiple times for those of us doing multiples of the 10k lap) and then the lead woman, myself and at least one other ended up going about 0.2-0.3mi extra when we weren't marshaled on to a bike path instead of the road for the first return trip. So a bit of a disaster if it were a 'real race', which it kinda was, but it really felt like training to me, plus, at least it didn't mess up the order of the top women, I would have been second with or without the course detour.

Definitely not at my top fitness, but also don't think I injured myself, so good!
