This was as bad as I'd felt all week. J went with me; he didn't feel well either and bailed at 2 hours. but either way, I got out there and did the hill repeats - found a good place for them. Of course, it was really all hills all the time, but most places were only good for shorter repeats, or if you were on the highway, turning around to spin down could cost you your life...was happy with the hill work but the rest of the time I pretty much wanted to go back to bed. Was cool and rainy during the workout. Got sunny and broiling again later, but not as bad as Saturday. I sure would like to feel better....

moved hard ride to Sunday. tooled around on mtn bike all day, but went for "ride" with friends for a while. easy day, just trying to recover. Plus it was SMOKIN hot on Saturday. We all melted, all day long...

I probably felt the worst this day so far in terms of the cold. it was super hard to get started and into a rhythm, but once I did it was OK. Decided to do closer to 2 rather than 3 to give my body a little break.

will do swim this weekend sometime. friends had us over for dinner and asked us to show up 1.5 hrs earlier than orginally. Lost my swim time. Doh.

still have this cold, so wasn't fastest tempo run. forgot odometer so don't know distance; sorry. pace was probably around 9min/mi. avg warm 138; avg tempo 169 (max 180) [yes this is above 4a but an 8:50 is always above 4a for me]; avg cooldown 146. worked on relaxing face and upper body and moving hips forward. makes you feel in your butt and hips more. was ok run considering stupid cold.

poor sleep, stupid cold, 2 flats (that shortened my time). but the riding was pretty good. hills w/in 10 mins of start, but whatever. not really 3a/3b, but here, it is all hills and altitude. run was decent after.

was tired from ride and felt like a bobble head, but legs felt pretty good and I was super alert - I think the electrolytes helped a lot.

did run in Whistler. elevation hard to get used to. have had sneezes and sniffles; hopefully just rainy weather. had to cut time to get back for dinner.
