Run (Trail run) 40:02 [3] 6.54 km (6:07 / km)
ahr:140 max:161 shoes: Keen Ridgeline

Headed north on a track up to Romeo rd before coming back down the Neerabup trail. This part is much sandier than the normal part I run, made worse today by the recent trail bikes that have been through digging up every corner and generally stuffing up a nice trail. I ran about 1 km up the normal part I run to see if the bikes have been through there and they had, digging up a lot of the sand that has washed down the slopes and the corners. Hopefully some more rain will even things out again.
It took a while to warm up with the legs a bit stiff for the first 5-10 mins, but they seem to cope well with the slower pace on the trails.
Ran at about 6:30 am, nice time to be out running.

Paddle (River) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: PRS

Paddle from the UWA boat shed with Jacko, .. (early and not lost), Jolt and Liz. Headed out around the point into the wind first with a couple of races on the way back to the point. Good fun racing with Jolt just out in front and I was just off the back of Jacko almost catching him as I got a short run then he would get away on run of his own. I managed to just pip him at the end of the second race, nice to keep the effort up for about 500m or so without falling back. We then had a few fun handicap races with beach runs & push ups before jumping on the skis to paddle a short course then jumping off and running up the beach for the finish. I couldn't help but try to run down Jolt at the finish of the last race but he held me off and all I got for my troubles was a sore right achilles from pushing it a bit hard in the soft sand.
Plenty of stops, and I forgot to turn off the GPS so distance and HR data not accurate, probably paddle about 8 km.

MTB 25:00 [3]
shoes: Avanti

A quick spin around Brighton and Jindalee before picking the girls up from school.
Both achilles a bit tender after yesterdays run but much better than last week. Not as tight after the ride, I had a slight limp from the tightness this morning but walking fine now.

Run (trail run) 1:04:00 [3] 10.0 km (6:24 / km)
ahr:147 max:164 shoes: Keen Ridgeline

Night time trail run with Jacko.
Out and back on the Neerabup trail using headlights.
I wasn't sure how the achilles would hold up but the easier pace of a trail run suited just fine and other than some tightness felt on a couple of the inclines all was good. Nice to see the trail at night, some kangaroos heard but not seen, some big spiders on webs across the trail.
Nice to pass the hour mark for a run, slowly building up the distance and time.

cross trainer 1:15:00 [2]

Low intensity effort on the cross trainer, not wanting to aggravate the achilles. Felt some sharp pain in right calf (like a scalpel slicing into the muscle) a couple of times. It felt similar to when a nerve is hit when I have had dry needling on my calf. I'm planning on a run Thursday evening, if I can't do that or it is still very sore afterwards physio may be the next step.
