AR Race 13:00:00 [4]

Fun fall classic race starting with a night paddle - been a long time since we have done this and kept all of us on our toes! Came off the paddle with a flood of teams all of whom were very cold from the sudden stop and tranistion! Ran in to Dave Hitchon and all of us ran hard to get warm.
Good trek section - crossed paths alot with FB and Pete Dobos then on to the long bike which I really enjoyed - fun to be out there seeing other teams - beautiful fall colours. Bike was good and long - our teamate was awesome at sucking it up as he was feeling off but never complained once and just kept pushing. Was concerned when hubby's knee kicked in and could feel his frustration in the last trek as he was having trouble at first with the map that was provided but we pushed on and found each of the three CP's and hammertime to the finish! Great race by Running Free and LSN as well as the other top solos and all male teams. MBR had an impressive lead for first 8 hours of race and things happened which we all know can happen in this sport!

AR Race 3:11:00 [4]

Storm the 10 - another great race put on by Sean and Hark Events. Like the change from water to bike as have had enough running for a while!
Trails were great at the top of Kelso - took 2nd to a very fit team who we referred to as the "Youts" that got 9 laps as we did but quite a bit quicker! Good to see other AR people out there and good speed training for upcoming FAR race this weekend
