Did Around the bay this weekend with one goal which was to beat my brother's time of 2:31 from 2003 when he smoked and rarely trained....Jamie told me to have a simple plan and stick to it, watch my watch, pace bunny or splits. I chose to stick with the 2:30 bunny and was very proud of sticking to my plan until I realized (from another competitor) with only a few km from the finish line that the 2:30 pace bunny was not on his time.......off by 1:42 from my brothers time and still being harrassed today as I write this - next time will look at my watch! Felt really good this race and should have ditched the bunny......
