Orienteering race (long) 1:10:00 [5]

pataias event 2nd day. long distance. feeling tired. no speed whatsoever left in legs. was mainly concentrating on trying to O ok. kinda worked. did still do some mistakes and few stops cos didnt know where i was, which cost me quite a bit of time... ohh well..
and still so hard to run cos SO much soft sand!! :s and weird problem with my left lower leg. just lost feeling of it after about 30min of running :S very strange and annoying and scary!

Note

walk in lisbon in the arvo. though was gona only do a short walk around our flash as hotel but ended up walking all the way in to town which took like 1.5hrs. legs pretty pretty tired.
ps. lisbon kinda a scary city. seemed like theres so many homeless people and people who wanna rob u. :s i was scared anyways..
p.p.s. pretty stoked that managed to drive the whole time in portugal without any major problems (not saying that didnt have any at all..) and esp happy about getting the car back to airport car rental in one piece! :)

pataias first event. middle distance. feeling rather average still.. couldnt run fast at all. :( orienteering pretty average too. just cant handle having SO many controls! crazy to do 30 C in 6.4km?! or well.. for me it is.
hopefully tomorrow will be better..

couldnt really be bothered to warm up or down. so just really easy short jogs.

straight after 1st map drove to nxt model map to do another little bit. map bit better than the 1st. feeling the same.

some orienteering training. basicaly just trying to read the map quite a lot. good fun terrain!

2nd training after few hrs of rest and lunch.
again just normal orienteering. bit harder to read the map cos 15000 scale. had to stop lots to see control feature.
also did some training with map that only had contours. no north lines either. so that was kinda weird first and quite hard but got use to it and was good training.

easy run with bryn in the evening. were suppose to go orienteering in the arvo but didnt have any time after sitting at doctors for 2 hrs. good fun.
running felt quite nice., felt like havent done it for ages (orienteering doesn't count as running :) )

slow as orienteering in the morning/lunch time. felt pretty average cos tired and sore. and map quite dumb. too much green :p

last race of the portugal o meeting. feeling rather tired. calves so sore. SUCH a disaster run!! couldnt read the map at all. or wasnt just concentrating.!? did bout 10min mistake with no 1. no idea what was going on !?! and then continued the same prety much. a very slow jog around the course.

portugal o meeting middle race. really really fast terrain!!. pretty cool. did kinda ok to start up with. lots of small stops thou to look for the flag behind rocks. lost lots of time with that really. and then a MASsive mistake just before the end! very very very dumb. :S

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3]

easy jog before the start. legs really sore and tired.
after the race slow run with Kirti. feeling rather depressed cos of my shite race :(
