shoes: New Balance 1210v2

3-dog run with BGY. We took them down to the Wheelie pond for a swim, then explored most of the trails in Palgrave West, and some bushwhacking for good measure. New guy K-Dog was great, even when we saw a deer. Adventuredog gave chase, but came back when I whistled, while K-Dog stayed with us. BZdog was on his harness. All good until we hit some burs.

Time to test the Kodiak with the correct bars and steering. Rode over to Palgrave East and the twisty Salty Stephen singletrack. The bike is light and lively to ride, handles rocks and logs well. It's a smooth quiet ride without the clunks and clatfers of the other bike, and I love the crisp shifting and braking amd lively climbing.
But... It's still more work on tight turns.
I figured out that I have to lean way forward and throw the bars far to one side, sliding my hand in from the outboard grip towards the stem. I had to get off and walk a couple of spots that I rode in my "Palgrave Rockpiles" video.

I tested the frame repairs on a few spots where I got some decent air, and it just floats over drops nicely.
