Snowmageddon! Even the muscle-bound hound had a hard time hauling through dense snow up to his chest. We did a first 2-dog lap, then back to pick up Bash, and a slow but fantastic slog through to the Wheelies place. I had an appt in Palgrave so I had to take off on Bash, but with the heavy trail breaking we barely made it in time- Bazingadog now lagging behind- only to find it cancelled.
Few things are a better workout than breaking trail at a solid pace when you can't even see your skis.
Had to pick up my van anyway, and drop off my rear wheel to MrBiker's house for conversion to 650b. Seems like a good time to be without a rear bike wheel.
Solid workout #3, but skipped the kbs to see if it helps my elbows.
Feeling great- back up to 13 on cable press and 10 pulldowns in a set. (I know, not epic but getting there.)
Also full foot/kneehab.

Solid fast run with the BZdog. He helped haul a bit, but has learned to slack on the uphills. I think I actually got him tired by the end.
Charlevoix woods (K-bash and Wheelright forest) were spectacular in winter sunshine. Enough snow to look like winter, but not to ski.
Solid run with BZdog. Also left the sled on the trail in the AM and hauled another load back in on the way back. Just a few more cm of snow and I could ski.
Knee has been a bit dicey since skate skiing Sunday.
Running (Cani-cross) 1:10:00 [2] shoes: Icebugs Gryllo Green
Decided it's too much work handling the big guy on leash and Bulletdog, so I used the Skijoring harness. Made for nice running! Took the hounds on some extra hills and Singletrack on the way home.
Out with the hounds heaving, sled-hauling and splitting some logs from the forest.
XC ski-Skate 1:15:00 [4]
Out chasing the LD express around Hardwood. As almost the only place with any snow due to freak squalls, it was packed with waddlers we had to dodge around like a video game.
LD is a much better skate skier, and the last time skate skiing for me was at Silverstar in November, so she put the hurt on as we detoured for the steepest possible hills- so much for my "easy" loop. Still a fast one for me, on my quick Tarnopol-skis.
