Fun time setting up the flags. Note to self: Try to be more prepared; a plastic Kohl's bag is not up the rigors of the forest. It held up for the first 80% but then it was done, which meant I ultimately only pulled 4 pieces of trash instead of the 5 I got up to....
I think it went well; only one known foul up (I couldn't read my writing and guessed wrongly 95 instead of 45...I should have just used the "text under control" and noted that potential issue). Also, in lazy setting speed, one allegedly thorny control didn't seem too bad, but it would have been all fun all the time to pull it another hill back to the fun (or at least, all but 20 meters fun).
Map was imperfect but mostly worked for most people.
I had crippling anxiety that every flag within sight of a trail would be stolen, which is dumb, most people aren't criminals; also, there was a limited amount of daylight between when deployed and when in use. Hopefully their successful presence a day later will knock down that concern a bit.
