sleep has been good. went to bed too late but woke up naturally at 7:30am feeling pretty rested. client cancelled coaching session but i headed to the gym anyway.

diet was on point yesterday. i feel much better and am going for two whole days of being crazy anal about calories and coming in under. i love and hate doing this.

oh yeah i watched this interview with lance from 2002. he got me going with "if you can't focus on your diet and nutrition. then you probably aren't focusing hard enough on your training either."

great energy in class today. the sun was shining on me from the window and i felt like i was pedaling on the beach in the summer. we hammered a lot of hills!

headed to discovery park for a loop after spin and lifting a bit. great sunny day out there!

everything felt good. glad i skipped the track session with the boys yesterday. still have a slightly annoying knot in my right hamstring. didn't feel my hip at all, but i know it needs work.

forgot a bottle so i ran without. this was weird. i honestly can't remember the last time i ran without a backpack or bottle.
