On the course Alex planned, but only part of it. I was trying to focus on accurate bearings/developing a sense of direction. Due to printer issues, I had a black-and-white map, which was actually ok. I could see the line and some stuff, but not enough to get distracted picking other features off.
Tried 1 twice, pretty much dead on second time.
Good to 2, almost got distracted by another cliff, but realized it was far too off my line
Skipped 3, went to 4 reading terrain, to mix it up, and because there was a lovely reentrant leading me there. I messed up at the end though, because missed seeing a contour.
5- right on.

Run back mostly along trails, went through the hilly gap and did a hill repeat up it for fun (2.55). I raced back after that, to try to not be too late for 8.30, which I thought was when Alex needed to be going for her 9 o'clock class. Turns out I had it all wrong, could have stayed out longer!
