Trail Running race (Seaton Trail Test) 6:56:00 [4]
I knew it was going to be an interesting day after eating bad sushi on Thursday and then directing my friend Patty to drive to Bowmanville for the start of Seaton......leaving us 10 minutes to the start of the race when we finally arrived. Tough, very muddy cold, wet conditions, lots of people underdressed and lots of DNF's more than I have ever seen in a trail race. By the fourth river crossing the water was so high I was a bit concerned about being pulled away by the current. Very good AR and suffer training as I was not feeling on top of my game at all today . FB looked good out there as well as Sally - good job to both. I was an entire hour off my time from two years ago but was happy to get through it and get 2nd female.
