Another amazing day, but after yesterdays shenanigans I decided to throw a light pack on and stick to the Waterfront trail. Out to Thickson and back, and felt really good. Can't wait until the trails are ready.

I wish I could be as positive about this run as Funderstorm was of hers...but ain't going to happen. With the beautiful weather I was pumped to hit the trails, and thought I would check out Durham. As it turns out, it may have been the right activity for the day, but the wrong location. Trails were brutally hard to run on, so much so that I post-holed my way up The Wall just to get to the road faster. Decided not to take the road back after all, but it really was sucky conditions that made me feel like I was running in butter wearing bowling shoes.
