Ride with Bash around the railtrail-Glen Haffy loop.
This one has a particularly tough climb, but it's nice on such a perfect day. We're tapering for the EA, so we took it fairly easy.
An easy first lap wth both dogs through the Murphy Loop AKA Burr Hell, then off through the Bruce West with Bulletdog at a faster pace. Stopped for the last of the raspberries, and to chat with some Eastern European guys with aerial photographs and rubber boots who were mapping hazard trees for the conservation authority.
To Albion hills, around every inch of the trails and to work with my AR pack on my bike.
A very technically good ride (Only kakked on the Haute Route hairpin climb) and I had the Beau Jambes too, as I climbed in bigger gears than usual, even with the extra weight. Perfect conditions and weather!
My back's a bit sore, but not hindering my riding.
I rode the Salty Steven Singletrack on the way to work and back with Bulletdog. I figured it's the twistiest trail with the most log-overs around, a good test for me to ride with my fully loaded AR pack attached to the 'bent.
Island lake. Bash and I had a hard time catching up to Tiny and the Iron Lunged Gazelle paddling into the wind, so it was a definite level 4 at times.
Note
We spent quite a bit of time testing out water toys for Adventure Swimming in Endurance Aventure. Pack rafts work well except whe the Gazelle with the Iron Lungs exploded his by overinflating. Flutter board- useless. Air mattress and webbed fingered gloves- not bad.
Mask and snorkel- good for swimming except when Iron Lungs lost the snorkel and spent 40 minutes looking for it. It was less funny when I found out it was my snorkel he lost.

Around Palgrave with Bash.
Running hills 20:00 [4] shoes: Ecco Receptor 2
Hammered some steep hills once Bash turned for home (and more hills, I later heard)
