Gave my knee the day off.
I worked on the Covid Crusher, and decided to start filming a short video about building and riding it. I had to transplant quite a few trilliums that came up in the middle of the track, relocated an inconvenient little tree, and moved some deadfall. Rode it afterwards with the gopro.

Later Bash and I visited the Isolating Birthday Goose at a distance, then hiked Cold Creek with the dogs. We wore our Wild BOAR shirts from way back when we could have a proper birthday adventure race and party with friends.

Palgrave full tour with Bash. Bluebird day before bug season.

Trails are perfect, and the bike was handling well- I even made the final Z-turn on the end of Salty Steven for the first time ever on the Kodiak (make it about half the time on the BBW but the Kodiak always gets stuck).

Commute via singletrack both ways. Knee seems ok as long as I don’t crash and twist it again.

Note- re-tapped the broken steerer adjustment nut so the bars don’t touch my knees on tight turns- no more Mr Pither crashes.

Decent run after a low-key weekend of dog hiking and some lumberjack/ trail work.

Knee is getting better, but still hurts to kneel or squat down.
