Running race 46:54 [4] 5.77 mi (8:08 / mi) +290m 7:02 / mi

Padfield Plum Fair Fell Race. Surprised by how well this went - felt good up the hill and after a very conservative start, did some good overtaking until only 40s behind Steph at the top and 3rd in a strong womens field. Descending still steady so think I lost a fair whack to her there but kept my 3rd position. Things clearly starting to run smoothly again :-)

Also won the team prize with Steph and Wendy as Pennine were 2nd (Steph), 3rd, 4th (Wendy) and 5th(Holly)! Some good strength in depth in pennine atm!

Parkrun - not sure if effort 3 or 4 as didn't feel too hard until the last 800m where I was making sure not to be overtaken by the 2nd lady. First go at a proper 5km, not too bad a start but room for improvement...

Running warm up/down 7:25 [2] 0.77 mi (9:38 / mi) +25m 8:45 / mi

Warm down then home to prepare for Soph and Adams wedding!

Updated C2C (23-26th Aug). Took a good 5-6 days to stop feeling sick when I ate....got some serious eating to catch up on now!

Pennine tues run with Geoff, Steve, Mark and Hanno. Legs feeling good bar a tight ITB. Clearly R glutes are my weak spot and first to suffer from less than ideal recovery nutrition...
