(Provisional?)

Wasn't expecting it to be too challenging just having compass discipline and keeping the pace on. Did this really well, lots of tracks out there made it pretty easy navigationally.

No significant mistakes. Lost 15s to 21 as went right because left looked risky with a tiny gap of hatched open in green then also went to another unmapped thicket in the circle.

With respect to 14 I was on my plan heading up staying parallel to the N-S strip crossing all the rides going the wrong way. Towards the top I saw Will coming from the left and clearly dip in and punch very slightly to the right of my line so got it easy.
Looking at Satellite (which is very good because of the rides) and RG it looks like the control is slightly off. Most likely in the other pit SW but with the green extending further on the west. It is a shame because I have looked at a few traces and a lot of people would of been too far left anyway because the rides pushed you the wrong way so it was a great leg which would of caused issues even if in the right place.

I caught Will at 18, feeling strong and pushing hard to the finish. Surprised to hear I won by so much but didn't realise the 14 issue at the time.

Results still seem provisional on the website and there isn't really any option but to Void in the rules which is a shame but fair enough. I know I had a really good run and take the confidence and try and replicate next weekend.

JK Sprint 4th +32

An acceptable result for a very sloppy performance. I don't think I was ever in control of the navigation and predominantly lucked my way through but quite often ended up going the wrong way which luckily only cost about 3-5s here instead of being a major mistake. Just mentally really struggling.

Not sure why. Physically feeling awful, especially the second half when it was time to get moving on the easier running and the head went with it and lost most the time here.

A bit of a shame as have had the best winter for many years and felt physically and mentally great in Nice and but have been really struggling since coming back.

Quick grump cheered up with Laura taking the win.
